Jakarta, suarapasar.com – Jasa Raharja mengajak masyarakat yang belum membayar Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB), untuk segera menunaikan kewajibannya. Para pemilik kendaraan diimbau untuk dapat memanfaatkan program pemutihan PKB dan gratis Bea Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor (BBNKB) yang hingga saat ini masih dilakukan oleh sejumlah pemerintah daerah.
Direktur Operasional Jasa Raharja Dewi Aryani Suzana menyampaikan, relaksasi pajak kendaraan bermotor jadi momentum bagi para pemilik kendaraan untuk mulai tertib membayar pajak.
“Karena pajak dari masyarakat akan kembali lagi ke masyarakat. Kalau masyarakat tertib pajak, tentu program-program pembangunan, pelayanan masyarakat, dan program keselamatan juga akan berjalan lancar,” ujar Dewi di Jakarta, Senin, 14 November 2022.
Dewi mengatakan, pemutihan pajak dan penghapusan biaya BBNKB merupakan program pemerintah untuk membantu pemilik kendaraan bermotor menuntaskan kewajibannya tanpa dikenakan denda keterlambatan.
“Tentu agar denda PKB tidak menumpuk. Selain itu, jika pajak secara terus menerus tidak dibayar maka kendaraan berpotensi bodong dan tidak bisa dipergunakan di jalan raya,” terangnya.
Saat ini, beberapa provinsi di Indonesia, seperti DKI Jakarta, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, Banten, Sumatera Selatan, NTB, dan sejumlah daerah lainnya, masih memberikan relaksasi keringanan pajak dan gratis biaya BBNKB hingga Desember 2022 mendatang.
Adanya program tersebut tentu menjadi kesempatan bagi masyarakat, khususnya para pemilik kendaraan bermotor yang belum melaksanakan kewajibannya, untuk segera membayar tanpa harus menanggung denda administrasi keterlambatan.
“Harapannya, selain meningkatkan penerimaan negara dari sektor pajak, juga akan meningkatkan keakurasian data kendaraan bermotor,” ungkap Dewi.(parang)
