Galur, suarapasar.com – Serka Sumardi Babinsa Banaran Koramil 09/Galur Kodim 0731/Kulon Progo, melaksanakan pengecekan dan pendampingan kegiatan evakuasi pohon kelapa tumbang yang menimpa rumah milik Muhson, warga Pedukuhan Jonggrangan, Kalurahan Banaran, Kapanewon Galur, Kabupaten Kulon Progo, Jumat, 23 Desember 2022.
“Setelah mendapat laporan, kami langsung mendatangi tempat kejadian pohon tumbang yang terjadi di wilayah Pedukuhan Jonggrangan. Dari hasil pengecekan, pohon tumbang tersebut menimpa Rumah Bapak Muhson, sehingga ada beberapa bagian yang mengalami kerusakan, kerugian diperkirakan sekitar 3,5 juta rupiah,” tutur Babinsa Banaran.
Lanjut Babinsa, berkoordinasi dengan pemilik rumah dan Dukuh Jonggrangan untuk melakukan evakuasi pohon tumbang tersebut. Dengan menggunakan gergaji mesin, warga memotong dan mengevakuasi batang pohon kelapa tersebut serta membersihkan puing-puing genteng dan usuk serta reng yang berserakan.
“Kami juga menghimbau kepada warga agar lebih waspada dan hati-hati karena cuaca ekstrim masih akan terjadi di wilayah Kulon Progo,” pungkasnya.(asw,parang)
