Kulon Progo, suarapasar.com – Tak henti-hentinya PT. Jasa Raharja Cabang D.I Yogyakarta melalui petugas Jasa Raharja Samsat Kulon Progo melakukan upaya-upaya dalam meminimalisir risiko kecelakaan di jalan raya.
Petugas Jasa Raharja Ahmed Ershad Bafadal bersama Unit Laka Lantas Satlantas Polres Kulon Progo menyampaikan himbauan tertib lalu lintas di Karangnongko, Wates, Kulon Progo yang merupakan daerah ramai kendaraan baik roda dua maupun roda empat atau lebih.
Menurut Ershad, himbauan ini perlu dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi dan pencegahan serta meminimalisr kecelakaan di wilayah Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Meskipun di wilayah Kulon Progo angka kecelakaan lebih rendah dibanding Kabupaten lain di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
Penanggung Jawab Jasa Raharja Samsat Kulon Progo Hendratno Bagus Sutanto menjelaskan selain petugas Jasa Raharja menyampaikan himbauan secara langsung juga melaksanakan pemasangan spanduk sebagai bentuk upaya pencegahan dan sebagai media untuk mengingatkan bagi para pengguna jalan agar lebih memahami, peduli dan meningkatkan kewaspadaan serta mengedepankan keselamatan berlalu lintas sehingga dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas.
“Harapannya dengan terpasangnya spanduk dan himbauan secara langsung ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran tertib berlalu lintas sehingga dapat menekan risiko kecelakaan yang terjadi di wilayah Kabupaten Kulon Progo,” tambah Hendra.(parang)
