Nanggulan, suarapasar.com – Kecelakaan lalu lintas yang terjadi di Jalan Jalan Pengasih – Nanggulan tepatnya di Pedukuhan Paingan, Sendangsari Pengaaih Kulon Progo pada hari Jum’at, 9 Desember 2022. Terlibat kecelakaan lalu lintas pengendara sepeda motor dan pengendara sepeda motor mengakibatkan salah satu pengendara sepeda motor terluka dan dirawat di RSUD Wates. Korban meninggal pada Jum’at, 9 Desember 2022.
PT Jasa Raharja Cabang D.I Yogyakarta melalui Jasa Raharja Kantor Pelayanan Jasa Raharja TK I Bantul, Penanggung jawab Jasa Raharja Samsat Kulon Progo pada hari Sabtu, 10 Desember 2022 melaksanakan survey di rumah duka korban atas nama Muhammad Rifki Alaudin,16 tahun, warga Jambon Donomulyo Nanggulan Kulon Progo ditemui Marno (ayah korban) sebagai ahli waris. Hendratno Bagus Sutanto Penanggung Jawab Jasa Raharja Samsat Kulon Progo menyampaikan duka cita yang mendalam atas kejadian tersebut.
“Setelah mendapat informasi kecelakaan, petugas Jasa Raharja langsung bergerak cepat bersama Polres Kulon Progo dan melakukan peninjauan dilokasi kejadian serta melakukan pendataan korban yang mengalami luka luka dan meninggal dunia di RSUD Wates.
Lebih lanjut Hendra mengatakan, korban saat mengalami kecelakaan tersebut terjamin oleh Jasa Raharja sesuai dengan Undang-Undang No 34 Tahun 1964. Hal ini merupakan bentuk implementasi Program Perlindungan Dasar Pemerintah terhadap warga negara yang mengalami kecelakaan. Sesuai UU tersebut, Jasa Raharja memberikan santunan kecelakaan kepada setiap orang yang meninggal dunia/cacat tetap akibat kecelakaan yang disebabkan oleh alat angkutan lalu lintas jalan baik di darat, laut maupun udara.
“Santunan tersebut berasal dari dana Sumbangan Wajib Dana Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas Jalan (SWDKLLJ) yang dibayarkan masyarakat setiap tahunnya di kantor Bersama SAMSAT,” jelasnya.
Korban meninggal dunia berhak atas santunan dan diserahkan kepada ahli waris yang sah menurut aturan yang berlaku sebesar Rp 50 juta, untuk korban luka-luka dijamin biaya perawatan oleh Jasa Raharja sampai dengan maksimal Rp 20 juta. Hal ini sesuai Peraturan Menteri Keuangan RI No 16 Tahun 2017.
Selain itu, Hendra juga menyampaikan pesan kepada warga masyarakat untuk tertib membayar PKB/SWDKLLJ, karena Jasa Raharja menyantuni korban kecelakaan lalu lintas jalan dari SWDKLLJ yang dibayarkan masyarakat bersamaan dengan pembayaran pajak kendaraan bermotor.
“Pengguna jalan agar selalu berhati hati dalam mengendarai kendaraan berlalu lintas, tertib berlalu lintas, jangan lupa selalu memakai helm yang benar bagi para pengendara dan pembonceng sepeda motor,” pesan Hendra.(parang)
