Kepala KPJR TK I Bantul mengatakan, wilayah Wates adalah pusat pemerintahan Kabupaten Kulon Progo dan banyaknya kendaraan yang melintas di wilayah Wates ini menjadi pertimbangan kami memberikan informasi keselamatan berlalu lintas.
Sosialisasi kepada seluruh aparat pemerintah Kapanewon Wates tentang kecepatan dan kemudahan pelayanan santunan bagi korban Laka lantas serta kewajiban masyarakat pemilik kendaraan bermotor untuk tertib membayar pajak kendaraan bermotor, SWDKLLJ dan registrasi identifikasi di SAMSAT.
Penanggung Jawab Jasa Raharja Samsat Kulonprogo, Hendratno Bagus Sutanto dalam kesempatan ini menyampaikan harapan kepada para Aparat Desa, Semoga Kapanewon Wates menjadi Pelopor Keselamatan Berlalu Lintas. Menjadi Pelopor Kalurahan yang semakin modern, profesional, terpercaya dan semakin bermartabat.
Sementara itu Panewu Wates, Setiawan Triwidada menyambut baik kehadiran Jasa Raharja.
