Panjatan, suarapasar.com – Meski di tingkat Rukun Tangga (RT) di RT 12 RW 06 Kanoman 3, Kalurahan Kanoman, Kapanewon Panjatan, Kabupaten Kulon Progo tetap semangat melaksanakan kegiatan dalam rangka Hari Ulang Tahun ke 77 Kemerdekaan RI. Warga RT 12 menggelar upacara disalah satu tempat warga setempat. Ratusan warga dari muda hingga orang tua antusias mengikuti kegiatan lomba lomba, tirakatan, maupun upacara 17 an, Rabu, 17 Agustus 2022.
“Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan tiap tahun, namun dua tahun tidak dilaksanakan karena pandemi Covid-19, dan kali ini di tempat yang sangat sederhana warga RT 12 kembali menyelenggarakan,” kata Eko Rahmadi warga setempat saat ditemui seusai acara, Rabu, 17 Agustus 2022.
Rahmadi menjelaskan kegiatan dalam rangka memperingati HUT ke 77 Kemerdekaan RI dilaksanakan dengan mengadakan berbagai kegiatan baik anak anak, ibu Dasa Wisma, dan Bapak bapak. Kegiatan ini didukung KKN UNY yang berada di Pedukuhan Kanoman 3, Kanoman, Panjatan, Kulon Progo.
“Acara ini secara spontan dilaksanakan, dan baru RT Kami yang mengadakan, semoga kegiatan ini bisa menumbuh kembangkan RT lain,” katanya.
Seperti Upacara 17 Agustus ini merupakan penghormatan bagi para pejuang memperebutkan untuk Kemerdekaan Indonesia. Betapa beratnya pejuang pejuang kala itu. Sebagai penerus bangsa perlu kiranya untuk menghormati dan menghargai perjuangan pendahulu.
Sementara Shela salah satu KKN UNY mengatakan upacara yang diselenggarakan RT 12 Kanoman 3, sangat bagus, setingkat RT sudah dapat melaksanakan kegiatan yang sangat besar.
“Saya mengapresiasi, semuga RT RT lain bisa mengikuti dan menyelenggarakan semacam ini,” katanya.(parang)
