Kalibawang, suarapasar.com – Sertu Saparjo Babinsa Banjarharjo Koramil 05/Kalibawang Kodim 0731/Kulon Progo bersama Pokjanal Tingkat Kapanewon Kalibawang, melaksanakan pengecekan jentik-jentik nyamuk, di wilayah Pedukuhan Bogo, Kalurahan Banjarharjo, Kapanewon Kalibawang, Jumat, 23 Desember 2022.
“Kegiatan diawali dengan rapat koordinasi yang berlangsung di Aula Puskesmas Kalibawang, dilanjutkan pengecekan jentik-jentik nyamuk dengan sasaran rumah warga dan sekitarnya di Pedukuhan Bogo, Banjarharjo, Kalibawang,” dikatakan Babinsa Banjarharjo.
Pengecekan jentik-jentik nyamuk tersebut dalam acara upaya pencegahan timbulnya penyakit yang disebabkan oleh nyamuk seperti malaria dan demam berdarah di wilayah Pedukuhan Bogo khususnya dan Kalurahan Banjarharjo pada umumnya.
“Selain pengecekan, kami juga melakukan pemberantasan sarang nyamuk dengan membersihkan tempat-tempat atau wadah yang digenangi air,” pungkasnya.
Hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut Hening Nurcahya Panewu Kalibawang beserta dr. Theresia Rudatun Kepala Puskesmas Kalibawang, Iptu Sudari dari Polsek, Sertu Saparjo Babinsa Banjarharjo, Nurohman Dukuh Bogo dan Perwakilan Kader Kesehatan dari masing-masing Kalurahan wilayah Kapanewon Kalibawang.(asw,parang)
