Wates, suarapasar.com – Sebagai upaya pencegahan terjadinya banjir akibat tanggul sungai jebol, Serma Sukardi Babinsa Bendungan Koramil 01/Wates Kodim 0731/Kulon Progo bersama Lurah dan Pamong Bendungan serta warga Pedukuhan Sanggrahan Kidul melaksanakan gotong royong perbaikan tanggul Sungai Serang yang terkikis air pada Minggu, 4 Desember 2022.
Gotong royong pebaikan tanggul Sungai Serang yang tergerus air pasang pasca hujan deras dilakukan dengan menyusun ratusan karung yang diisi tanah dibagian tanggul yang terkikis air, dengan harapan tanggul yang tergerus tersebut tidak terjadi longsor lagi ketika turun hujan, tutur Babinsa.
Babinsa menghimbau kepada warga agar secara rutin melaksanakan pemantauan kondisi tanggul Sungai Serang yang ada di wilayahnya terutama pada saat turun hujan deras.
“Warga diharapkan segera melaporkan apabila kedapatan titik-titik tanggul yang tergerus air agar segera dilakukan langkah penanganan,” himbau Babinsa.(asw,parang)
